Trending Colors & Patterns for Spring 2026

For the longest time I never really believed in following trends, but over the past few years, trending fashion, colors, styles and interior designs have held a lot more influence over my lifestyle. Is that a bad thing? If court is in session, I’m ruling no! From my point of view, the best way to be inspired is following trends that you ACTUALLY like, and update your home and wardrobe in a sustainable way that you’ll continue to enjoy even when a trend fades.

That being said, let’s jump into the top trending colors and patterns for this Spring with some great ideas on how you can incorporate them into your wardrobe and interior decoration.

I absolutely ADORE Butter Yellow, not only is it a visually beautiful color, but it also is very complimentary to a majority of skin tones and hair colors. As a calming and warm shade of yellow, it’s a wonderful choice to create a relaxing environment in your home.

Top color pairings: Blue (navy or light), pastel pink, black, classic denim, tan/brown, red.

While I’m not a big fan of red, this bold color is extremely versatile, combining well with delicate feminine colors or edgy fits. Attractive to the eye, and a great choice to add a pop of color in your home, this color also signifies happiness, good fortune, vitality and prosperity in many cultures including Chinese!

Top color pairings: Dark green, black, cream or butter yellow, maroon, orange, light pink.

Number Four: Lime

Lime Styling & Home Decor

Bold and bright, lime is an iconic color for anyone looking to boost their style with a giant POP! You may think that because of its boldness it’d be difficult to pair, but in fact, it’s an extremely versatile shade that is compatible with a large list of colors, patterns, wood tones etc.

Top color pairings: Metallic silver, ocean blue, butter and bright yellow, white, cream, purple.

Number Five: Pink - Pastel Pink

Pink Outfit Ideas & Interior Design

Contrary to popular belief, pink doesn’t necessarily have to be delicate! With many shades, this iconic color combines immaculately with both edgy pieces and more feminine styles. Considering its popularity, it’s very easy to find unique pieces in all shades of pink, along with home decor accents to impress any guest.

Top color pairings: Soft and bright green, red, black, light blue, orange.
